Mini Sessions

A few times a year I run ‘mini sessions’ which are shorter, more budget-friendly and often have a theme! These mini sessions cost you less than a normal family session because I choose the location and the date, and have lots of clients one after another. You also only get a small number of photos included in the price, with the option to buy more.

My Christmas Minis in 2021 were held at Frenchay Christmas Tree Farm on their open weekend in November… this meant that you could choose your Christmas Tree, decorate it, and then have it cut down and delivered to you nearer Christmas fresh and ready to go!

Whilst lots of families wandered the farm looking for the perfect tree, I chose a lovely secluded corner with a few healthy looking trees (and a small tree for the little ones to decorate!) and set up for the day.

I posted on Instagram (see my Christmas highlights here) to show you all where to find me, and shared a few quick images during the day. I brought a special basket full of treasures for your children to discover, including fairy lights and beautiful decorations so you could decorate the tree together… and snow!

Mini sessions usually only last around 20 minutes, but it’s amazing how many different things you can get done in that time! At Christmas we’ll look in the basket together (or maybe sit in it if we’re small enough!), decorate the tree, play hide-and-seek, chase Dad through the trees, and pretend it’s snowing!

In 2022 I also held some ‘Mummy & Me’ sessions around Mothers Day! Next year I will probably choose to hold these a little later in the year, as we had both snow and 25° in the same week…
